![]() ![]() In Draenor, you can see this location in the Warlords of Draenor Cinematic where Grommash refused the offer to drink the blood of Mannoroth, setting an alternate story in motion. In Outland, it is the location where the orcs drank the blood of Mannoroth and later serves as the location for Shattered Sun Offensive. Named by Gul'dan, this is home to the world boss Kazzak in both Outland and Draenor. ![]() It's the first location players encounter when questing in both Outland ( Hellfire Peninsula) and Draenor ( Tanaan Jungle at 90 and 100). The Dark Portal is an iconic location for both continents. In Outland, this area is surrounded by jagged cliffs, while in Draenor, fel lava fills the valleys. The geography is quite similar, with the Path of Glory present. Originally the Iron Citadel, Gul'dan corrupted Tanaan Jungle and the Iron Citadel, unleashing the Burning Legion. In Draenor, this is home to the raid Hellfire Citadel. It was built for Blackhand and later used by Illidan's fel orcs to drain Magtheridon's blood and create more fel orcs. In Outland, Hellfire Citadel was home to the three dungeons The Blood Furnace, Hellfire Ramparts, and The Shattered Halls, as well as the raid Magtheridon's Lair. In Draenor, the Warsong Clan controls Oshu'gun and Cho'gall transforms K'ure. In Outland, this ship was home to the naaru K'ure, but was recently overrun by members of the Shadow Council and Consortium members interesting in mining the mountain for gems. In both timelines, it crashed, bringing the Draenei to Draenor, and later became sacred to Orcs honoring their ancestors. Oshu'gun, meaning "Mountain of Spirits" in Orcish, is a large white mountain in southwestern Nagrand in both zones. It's fun to see what looks similar or different in each timeline, as well as how quests and lore have changed. This part compares areas with the same name in Draenor and Outland.
